Happy Halloween!

Image
Happy Halloween dearest. The kids had a lot of fun today making Halloween cards with Jack-O-Lantern paper cuttings. One of the K.G. students also showed her prowess in acting like Sadako, from 'Ringu'; to which her friends reacted with much fear. :) It was fun. You have fun 'trick-or-treating' as well. Lots of spooky love.

Honey...

Image
Honey, This is weird, I know, i think you know too. Because I just realized that the chronology of "Watchmen" is exactly the same as it has been, the part few weeks, only 20 years later! It's the most coincidental event that has occurred to me in these 23 years of my short-spanned life, but by far, THE most memorable book I have ever read, and probably ever will read in my life. Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Sirs, I am speechless by your fantastic efforts! You deserve much more than a standing ovation. I also couldn't have finished reading the book at a more significant date or time. Thank you! God bless you both. Dearest, I'm really thrilled at having completed such an awesome book at such a time of year. I mean, I couldv'e read the book coz other time of year? Why October 31, November 1? It's just too plain weird! I leave you to your thoughts... Miss you much. (*^.^*)

Bleeding apathy

Image
Dearest, I don't know why, but I feel very apathetic these days; unwavering and uncaring for the world around me. Why shouldn't I dearest? It has only taken from me. The times it HAS given was quite unnecessary. Call me ungrateful, but many would agree with me. People are pests, I maybe one too, so why must our lives be so bugged? Even pests have simpler lives than we. I leave you to your thoughts dearest. Sleep well, Be good. :-*

Wednesday October 20th, 2010

"Wednesday, makes us work, as it's a weekday... We toil, slog, and suffer it all, and through our actions we pay..." Dearest, Today is the 20th of October the year Two-Thousand and Ten A.D., the 12th of Dhul-Qada 1431 in the Islamic calendar, the 12th ofHeshvan, 5771 in the Jewish calendar, 28 Mehr, 1289 in the Persian calendar and the 7th of Kartik, 1417 in the Bengali calendar. Funny, whenever I state the Bengali date, I feel nostalgic, thinking about the date as it used to be stated in the radio, when my Grampa used to turn it on early in the morning at dawn. Alas, all those days are gone, and all that is left is your persistence and being with me. I feel sad nowadays, can't place the reason on anything particular, just a blank sadness you suffer within. After all there is absolutely no reason for me to be sad. It's a confusing notion. But my confusions will soon be erased because I have three midterm exams next week. Two on one day and another on a Saturday....

To Seek Peace Within Yourself

Image
"In order to achieve peace, First seek within your own, If that doesn't suffice enough, Build a prison made of stone..." Dearest, I had a chat with a very unique personality today. She reminded me of myself, only she was another mirror image. LOL Interesting. I do not know whether it had been out of sheer respect of age, (or otherwise), but she portrayed every word I spoke with a conscience of unbelievable stigma! She understood my outlook towards the world, my feelings for whatever I mentioned to her and an overall dignity which I cannot bring to words. Alas, there are only a few such individuals around in this God-forsaken world these days, but rest assured she is a highly intriguing individual. I do wish my companionship with her remains well and hope to meet her again some time... After all, she comes from a religious background deeply puzzling for me. All religions aside however, she truly moved my one-sidedness and stubborn beliefs of life, and made me realize what ...

Noakhali - A Land of Rivers

Image
"Blue skies, green leaves, Clear waters, high trees, Two brothers enjoying the trip on a train, The skies are clear and there is no rain..." Dearest, I'm riding a train after 10 years. We've just stopped at Akhaura, Comilla. Then on our way to Noakhali. I shall truly cherish these moments of my short life... Till later

Kids - Layer 13

"Children play and come and go, They show innocence and shine, This theme comes to an end in awhile , A new place, scope and time..." Dearest , I'm surfing at my university now. Experienced a weird child-like orientation of the BRAC Film Club. No offense but it was kinda corny. I've left their movies which I promised on this system, so I hope they get it in time. Kids, they do all kinds of things to impress their peers. :) I'll be going home now. Very tired and a little disappointed that I didn't get much more out of the 'INTROVIEW' - still glad that I could copy the movies for them. Bye for now, Till tomorrow, the last post in this theme. ♥ always.

Weird - Layer 12

"When night falls again, and the city is asleep, I recall your fear, and the promise that I keep, You look at me again, with a despair full of dread, As I remember all the memories and tears that we shed..." Dearest, I was watching the movie 'Watchmen' as I hadn't seen it before, and really got hooked onto the story. I decided to stop seeing it and read the graphic novel first as Kitty has it at home. He had told me many times to read it but I didn't take heed. We all learn through experience it seems. I've begun reading the book. It's good. :-o Really well composed and mature. Something that I might contrive. Till later, love. :-* :)
