Yesterday's rain and the power cuts.

"Sometimes we fail,
Sometimes we win,
Sometimes we fail to win,
As we commit through sin."

Dearest,

Today I woke up with a strange feeling that the day was going to go badly; I still hadn't apologized to my friend properly, and so was feeling worse.

I read through the Quran for an hour to clear my head, and it helped.

The power went off twice in the morning, so then I went to pray. After the power came back, I uploaded a song for my friend which she wanted to hear. I have yet to hear her comments on that.
But it wasn't a song that she hadn't heard; she had heard it before. She just wanted it in her collection I suppose. :)

The electricity then went out for a third time in the afternoon. I got frustrated and went to sleep, listening to "Soilwork's" album "The Panic Broadcast".

(Those of you who like to torrent can find the album here > http://www.torrentz.com/c893cfdf2e5828ff53a0d30aad97b86ed283c707) :)

When the electricity came back, I couldn't focus on what to do, as my exams were over, so I started writing to you.
I've grown tired of Face.book my dear. The word "Facebook" isn't even added to my system dictionary and gives spelling errors every time - pathetic!
I don't hate it, I don't like it either. It's just that it's a real challenge for those who are new at first and can't grasp it properly. Those few pro-users (yeah, Asif, I'm talking about you :) that can use it, know so, because they've been using it for a long while.
I'm no pro-user, I just login to Facebook to connect with my friends across the US/Europe, while I sulk here in the heat. :(
It gets addictive sometimes - that is bad. And that is what I need to get out of.

You help me do that dearest, and for that, I thank you.
I made a new Windows Live account for my friend yesterday and helped her around the site. I tried to guide her on through to change her password, when the power went off again. But then it suddenly started to rain and I felt a lot better.
The power came back after another hour, and I decided not to go into Facebook and simply sent my friend an e-mail from through 'Live', outlining the steps in order to change her password.
I hadn't sent e-mail like this in quite awhile and it was fun.

:)

I went to pray at night and on my way back from the 'masjid' I met an old high school friend. He shifted his house nearer to our house in Baily Road and it was really good to see him again. He showed off his Sony Alpha DSLR to me and we talked of old friends.

I went home a little late and mom was a little angry with me. I told her about Rabbi shifting his house and she asked how he was doing. Then, after dinner I talked with Asif after many months; that was fun too.

:)
