Dearest,
Today started out like any other ordinary day, except for one tiny fact...[more on that later]

I woke up cursing my dad as usual, and called Allah and asked Him why I've become like this. I have so much, still I'm ungrateful. I have to learn to be more grateful - please pray that I become more grateful. I went to university with a handful of papers to print my question papers on. So far I've printed two... I have 4 more to go... :(

I went to ECO class at 1100 and felt seriously bored by 1130. The teacher herself had a droning voice, so I got out of the room to see if there was any other section with a different faculty put up on the notice board. I took down the timing and to my surprise found that T. sir would be conducting the other class. I couldn't wait to change my section. T. sir is SUPER cool!

After ECO I went to check with Arif sir, [the course administrator of the uni.] about our BTE101[Biotechnology] course which N. sir couldn't take last week, because he was out of town. I asked Arif sir about the room number in which BTE would be conducted and took it down. BTE class was where my life changed forever...

There I met the one person in the world who I was looking for all these years. Her name is N. and she has the same birthday as me! This is super freaky because I have never met a person like her in my life. She's my significant other in all aspects. She likes the same music as I do, likes the same kind of people that I do, hates the same kind of people as I do and has the same Facebook account as I do... OK that came out wrong... She has a Facebook account and I don't - still, she uses email so that's good enough for me.

Now all I have to do is get to know her and find out if she's really my 'anti'self.
[That'll be so cool]

Mom's Recipes - Part V

Dearest, Today we cook beef with tomatoes and potatoes. Ingredients: 1kg beef brisket 3 big, fat onions (chopped) 4 big tomatoes Half cup soya oil Ginger, onion paste Grind together 2 bay leaves, 5 garlic cloves, 5 cardamoms, 3 sticks of cinnamon squish :) Method: Heat oil, put chopped onions, tomatoes and all the ground spices and ginger/garlic paste. Add one tbsp salt, 3tsp turmeric and 2 mugs of water. Bring to boil. Add the washed beef to the boiling spice mix and turn down the heat. Simmer for 1 hour. Tenderize! :O Add water if necessary and add the potatoes. Tenderize! :) Add jeera powder (jeera phaki) and coriander powder (dhania phaki). :) Till we eat again! Lots of beefy love, M.

Psyche - Layer 05

"We go down, we do time, We rise up, to fall in line, Real racers don't shed tears, Real racers respect their peers..." Dearest, I just finished watching Fast and Furious. Was it good? It was unbelievable! And to think Vin Diesel produced it! Man is he loaded! ;P The storyline was fantastic, the action was ridiculous and the one-liners were corny. It was a good movie although rottentomatoes gave it a rotten 28% saying, "While Fast and Furious features the requisite action and stunts, the filmmakers have failed to provide a competent story or compelling characters." The story was the only thing I found to be competent, call me whacko. :P I'm a big racing game fan, so I like watching these 'cheesey' movies. My psyche regarding games and movies is more closely 'attached', if that's one way of putting it. I woke up to find mom watching HBO, and it was airing The Making of Fast and Furious . I watched through it, but little did I know ...
